The Grayson County Historical Society recently announced its partnership with up and coming artist Kaili Logdson, a recent Grayson County High School graduate, to create art prints of historical buildings and landscapes around the county.
As part of Logsdon’s partnership with the historical society, she has worked to expand on the series of 15 historical sketches drawn by the late Nancy Young Robinson and her first husband, Paul Young, in the early 1980s.
Additionally, Logsdon will sketch a number of other historic sites in the county, both past and present, many of which were not covered by the original sketches.
She is also working with the society on a coloring book based on her sketches, which will be released in the coming months and sold by the historical society along with her new sketches.
All proceeds from sales of the sketches and coloring books will be split between the society and Logsdon.
"The Historical Society is excited to partner with such a talented young local artist as Kaili, and work with her to further her artistic endeavors," officials said in the announcement.
"Keep an eye out for the special projects that Kaili is creating and releasing soon from the Grayson County Historical Society!" Logsdon describes herself as being an enthusiastic artist who loves to draw pictures of people, nature, various still life and anything related to Jesus.

Some of her recent jobs, other than those with the historical society, have been storefronts in the Vine Grove area. When Logsdon isn’t working at her public job or creating art for others, she loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as her church family.
She says Psalms 28:7 and 119:105 are her encouragement for any battles she may face.
